Hello. I am also working on the Schäufeles of Oberacker. My ancestor was Johann Bernhard Schäufele, who was born in 1791 (and is listed in the OSB as Leonhard).

His line moved to Knittlingen, a nearby city. Bernhard is the son of Johann Michael Schäufele and Eva Maria, née Greiner.

He married Maria Barbara Goll in 1818, in Knittlingen, and immigrated to the US in 1819. They eventually ended up in Limerick Twp., Montgomery County, PA, USA.

It is my understanding that Oberacker is now part of the Stadt Kraichtal (City of Kraichtal), which is in the Landkreis Karlsruhe (Rural county Karlsruhe, versus the city), which is in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Hope this helps.
