Hi Terry,

It is entirely possible that some member of my family comes from Minnesota or Montana. Most of my ancestors all had large families.

I don't know all their names yet. We are still trying to piece it all together, but I had a great uncle that had three sons, that we've found so far. One went to Chicago,IL.
another to Wisconsin, and the other to California.

My Peter Scheid (his real name was August Peter) worked for his cousin in the grocery store then eventually bought it and continued to run it for a total of 60 years. It wouldn't be surprising if other relatives worked for him over the years. His fathers name was also Peter. He was a carpenter. He immigrated to Kalamazoo, MI in 1854.

These people would be cousins to me so perhaps we are distant cousins too. Interesting huh?
