I am searching for information about the Louis Emil Scheid (born 1887) family of Kansas. He married Alvina Els and they had several children including my grandfather Willard F. Scheid. I have been able to find out that his fathers name was John Henry Scheid, but that's where the trail goes cold. It is a very good possibility that John Henry was not born here, but I don't know for sure. Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
