I am so sorry I did not get your message sooner. I do hope that you receive this reply. Yes, we are definitely researching the same family. My husband, Charlie Scheid is a grandson of Gottfried (Fred) Scheid who was the youngest brother of Adolph #1. Their dad was Jacob and their mother was Francesca Hodapp Scheid. I have lovely portraits of Jacob and Francesca (they are in their 60's-70's in these photos) and lots more that you would probably like to have. I am just getting back into this research.
