Elide, thank you for responding to the genealogy request. That sort of strengthens the Austrian link. Sorry for the delay but this is the first time I've checked the board to see if there has been any responses. I thought by now I'd be a little deeper into the family history, but so far haven't really made a dent. I've never heard of an Elide in the family, but I'm not sure of my great great grandfather's wife's name. My family has been in the funeral business in Pittsburgh since 1868 and I am the fifth generation. Have you ever heard of any of your family members being in funeral service?
