Hi Diane:
What part of Canada did your SCHERLE family come to? We
are looking for information about Johann SCHERLE, b. 1858
in Bukovina, Austria and died at Earl Grey, Sask. in 1928.
His wife was Anna MANZ, b. 1868 in Bukovina and died at
Duval Sask. in 1918.
The father of Anna MANZ was Karl MANZ and her mother was
Caroline (last name unknown).
The father of Johann SCHERLE was Philip SCHERLE and
Philip's wife was Phoebe (last name unknown ).
There are many individuals with the surname SCHERLE,
living in Sask. at the present time and their ancestors
came from Bukovina which was part of the old Austro -
Hungarian Empire.
Any information would be much appreciated.
