Hi, I'm Dave Scherrer. Here is as much as I know about my grandfather's family. Charles Scherrer was b. Nov 10, 1881 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of Charles & Anna (Bos) Scherrer. They were born about 1847 in the Alsace-Lorraine area. Whether they married over there or in the US, I don't know. He died about 1912, and she in 1920. Anna's mother was Martha Schild. I have seen her diploma (and I wish I had it!); it is written in German. Besides Grandpa, Charles & Anna had George, Carrie, and Amelia. George married Mary, Carrie m. John Miller, & Amelia (Millie) m. Gus. Grandpa m., first, Flossie Smith, who d. May 18, 1919, and, 2nd, Clara Clark, who d. Feb 8, 1958. Their children were:
(1)Flossie, b. ca. 1908, m. Lee Smith. She d. 196? in FL
(2)Charles, b. Sep 25, 1909, m. Mae Scott. He d. Dec 5, 1998.
(3)William, b. Dec 12, 1912, m. Joan. He d. in 1999.
(4)Milton Allen (Dad), b. Jan 20, 1916, m. Virginia Jean McKibben
(5)Annamae, b. 1919, m. Albert Jones. She d. 199?
