Sharon,

Please tell me more about Thomas Scherrer. My family came from Auvernne, France in the mid 1800's. They started in New York and then moved to Iowa before settling in Colorado. My great grandfather's name was Alexander Scherrer. His brother's name was Joseph Scherrer. My parents live on Bainbridge Island, WA. One of their neighbors is a descendant from Joseph Scherrer. I'm always intrigued by anybody that I meet with a Scherrer last name, since it is so rare.
