Hello. I am trying to find information on my extended Scherer family. I believe Anna to be the mother of my great great grandmother, Clara Josephine Scherer. Anna came to America with Clara and two other children, Elizabeth and Freiderick in July 1851 aboard the ship Monmouth. They landed in New York. I have found Clara in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1854 and believe that her family would have been there with her since she was underage. Does anyone have any information about an Anna Scherer from Bavaria, but in Cincinnati in the 1850's? I am trying to connect the family back to Germany, but have not been able to do so with the information I have on Clara. Time to go more afield and see what is available. THANK YOU.
