Hi I'm looking for any info about the Schifflin's in Germany and the States.
My ancestor is Theordore Schifflin born 1871 in NYC died 1959 in PA. He was said to have had 13 brothers and sister and 7 died in one wk/mo from an epidemic in NYC. I know of 2 brothers Charles and Philip.
Theodore married Pauline Motiska in 1903 she was born 1876 in hungary and died 1908 in NJ, they had 2 children, Theodore dob 1906 died 1988 in PA and Pauline dob 1907 died 1992 in NJ (my grandmother). He then married Hermine Ring and had 4 more children, Alice, Philip & Charles the twins and Robert died as baby.
I'm looking for any info on his brothers and sisters or parents.
Family lore states he had a brother or uncle that was the founder of Tombstone Arizona, Edward Schieffelin but as you can see Schifflin is spelled differently.
