We have a list of 12 children born to Fredrick and Aurela. They were born between the years 1868 and 1992, but we are not 100% certain on the accuracy of this information. Their son Frank (b. 1882) was my great-grandfather. My grandfather was Lewis George Schlee and my mother is Lauretta. My mother and I are just beginning our search and have found census records in Grant Township, Washington County and Ramsey County Minnesota.
We also have found a record of when Frederick came to the US. He came to New York from Hamburg, Germany on a ship named "Deutschland" on Sept. 23, 1852. He was listed as 30 years old and a laborer.
