Dear Helen, Sorry to be so slow answering your note. We live in Palm Springs, CA and have been enjoying fall colors in Michigan and Minnesota.

I was born in Indianapolis as was my father. William Schleicher, ggfather, moved to Indianapolis about 1885 with his 10 children. We had a large family there at the turn of the century.

I don't recognize Earl, but C. Henry was probably my father's uncle. He married Ola Edwards and had four children (3 boys). My grandfather was Albert. He married Laura Frauer (Prauar?).

I found the information about Elizabeth? at the Mormon Library in Santa Monica, CA. It was in a set of books "Germans to America" Lists of Passengers Arriving at U.S. Ports, 1850-1855 (May 1853-Oct 1853). Vol. 5: Page 28.

I have a lot information about the Schleicher in Lawrenceberg and Indianapolis. I'll be glad to share it.

Jack Schleicher
