I am looking for information on two Daniel Schlichter's (perhaps spelled Schleicher) - one born in 1723 or 1731 and Daniel born 1759, son of the other Daniel. These are my direct descendants. Believe they came from Germany than Switzerland - yet no proof as yet. I have much on their descendants - settled in PA; then on to MO and KS - but may have also settled in New York and WI. I do know that one segment of this family went to Ontario. Sons of Daniel, Sr. were: Daniel, Jr.; John (b. abt 1757) and Christian (b 1761 - much known about this side of the family) and some known about the descendants of Daniel Jr.. Nothing known about John. I do know that there were several spellings of this last name. Would love to share information on what you have about any Daniel Schlichter's / Schleicher's - may be my missing link! Thanks - Alison (maiden name Schlichter)
