Hi Pamela, I do not know if we have a link or not. My ggggrandfather was John George Schleicher, he was called George, he was born 3/18/1831 in Langsfelt, Saxony, Germany. He married a Nancy Jane Newton 3/29/1831. His father was Bernhard Friedrich Anton Schleicher, they emigrated to the US in May 1849 on the USS Mary. My information says the ships log told only of the son J. George and of a sister, I beleive her name to have been Elisabeth, but my source says there was a whole passel of children. The information is supposed to be coming to me. Let me know if any of these names strike a chord!
