Hi David,

I live in Germany. Near Aix-la-Chapelle, there's a town called "Schlich", but I think the Schlich's originate from a region called "Eifel". I live near to this region and I know of a bunch of relatives who are still living there. I'm not sure but IIRC my father has done some investigations regarding our family history some years ago. Just drop me a line and I'll check this out :-)
