I saw the genealogy page for Gottlieb Schmidt

and wonder if there is a connection to my family tree.
I’ve recently learned that my great-grandmother (Henrietta Bierwagen, nee Schmidt) was married to Fredrick/Ferdinand Beirwagen. I have her death certificate and registration of death, which gives me her parents’ names as August Schmidt and Carolina Willand.
She was born in 1861 in Poland, and both her parents’ birthplaces are listed as Poland. According to this tree, August would have been about the same age as her.
Hoping there is a link.
