Do the following Schneiders ring a bell with anyone. The family story is that a sibling probably of Otto emigrated to the USA (possible Georgia?)from north Germany at some time. Some of these American descendants visited my great Aunt & Uncle in Hamburg (Heinz Otto Schneider) in the 70s but contact was lost after that.
