Looking for information on my gggrandfather, Anthony A. (Anton) Schneida, who migrated
from Vienna, Austria to New Orleans, Louisiana. He was born about 1850 in Vienna, the son of Anton Schneida and Elisabeth ?. He was married to Anna Louisa Andrews, the daughter of Valendin Andreas (Valentine Andrews) and Elisabeth Peters, and was a tailor by occupation.
Anton died 6 Jun 1905 in New Orleans and is buried in Lafayette #1 Cemetery at Washington Avenue and Prytania Street.
Any information on Anton's parents in Austria or in his siblings or children would be greatly appreciated.
