Looking for any info on the possible parentage of Ludwig "Lewis" SCHNEIDER (Ludwick SNYDER), who was born *around* 1770. He was allegedly the son of immigrants who came to Lancaster Co., Pa. and died while Ludwig was a child. He was bound out to earn his keep and eventually made his way to Washington Co., Md, where he married Elizabeth GARVER, daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Garver. He soon moved to Fayette Co., Pa., where he died in about 1849. As an adult, at least, Ludwig was of the Church of the Brethren.
After much traveling, I have yet to come up with any answers as to Ludwig's parentage. Can anyone help?
