Getting Information from Switzerland

My husband's ancestors came from Switzerland. Anyone have a good idea of how we can obtain information on them from Switzerland? I know we still have relatives over there but am at a loss as to how to begin to find them and information about those before us left in Switzerland. Any help appreciated.
