Hi Deb, I have a picture of my GGgrandparents Henry & Fanny Snyder (my mother says it should be spelled Schneider), they would be the grandparents of my grandfather Edward Oliver Deskin, my problem is this many relatives on the Deskin side have Edwards parents as William Elzy Deskin & Isabelle Billings (Bowland) Deskin but I think Isabelle was a Snyder, because surly my grandfather would know who his grandparents were as evidenced by the picture. Have you ever heard of a family story about Edward and his brothers cutting a limb from a tree to use as a cane for their lame grandmother, I have the cane and a picture of her holding it also.
