I am researching this family, (my husband is a descendant.)
Christian was born in Hamburg, Germany, abt. 1809; moved to Sheridan, NY, (NEAR JAMESTOWN) in abt. 1852.
He wed a Lana Ellen ROSENER, (AKA: Elizabeth Magdalena
"Lena" Anna ROSENOW), b. 26 Mar 1805. Buried in Cashton, WI.
He supposedly is buried @ VUILLENOVA Cem., @ Chatauqua CO, NY.
They had 12 kids, but we have records of only six, possibly the other six remained in Germany.
Any information would be most welcome, at this point.
Would like to wrap this up, in honor of late mother-in-law.
