I am seeking information regarding my gg grandfather Joseph Valentine Schneider (Snyder) b. 20 Mar 1841 in Switzerland?; d. 7 Jul 1908 in Rankin, Vermillion Co, Illinois; m. Elizabeth Helbing(Heibling) 12 Oct 1866 in Vermillion Co, Illinois. They had 6 children, 4 who grew to adulthood were Regina Josephine b 1868, Leonard Valentine b 1870, Lucia b 1872, and William b 1875. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
