hi,
Philip Schneider had at least 2 son's, John & George Jacob. I believe he was the first generation to go to Russia from Germany by way of Katharine the Great's land grant. I believe he was the one who died in a snow storm in Russia. I have no new dates, no dates at all, only family tales (?). He was suppose to be the common ancestor of my grandparents who were 3rd cousins. I don't know of any Schneider's going to Canada. My Schneider were settled in KS & CO. Some had to go to So. America, before coming to the US. I have nothing more, sorry........
