I. Hannes Bucher and Benedict Bucher, brothers and physicians, natives of Canton of Bern, Switzerland, emigrated to America about the year 1750, and located in Cocalico township, Lancaster Co. The 1st died without issue. Benedict Bucher, born Aug. 7, 1759, married Susanna Mohler.
II. Benedict died May 1, 1830 in Cornwell township, Lebanon County, Susanna (Mohler) Bucher, was born Jan. 29, 1764 and she died Sept. 1, 1827
III. Maria Bucher born Dec. 15, 1804 married Michael Snyder. Their children; Henry, Susan, who married William Snavely, Mary, married George Muck, Israel, Josiah.
