The "Nicholas" Snyder referred to in the 1st paragraph is my 3rd ggf. He is the son of Johannes Schneider and Margaretha Heilman. Nicholas was born in Northampton County 27 March 1777 per Mooretownship Congregational Church records. Nicholas married Eve Hough 29 Jan 1801, d/o Jacob Hough. Their children were: John R. (my 2nd ggf), James, Joseph, Mary (m. Richard Storer), David, Charlotte (m. Joseph Krepps), Jacob, Henry (m. Margaret Seymore), and William.
William Snyder b. 12 Dec 1815 married ? and had 4 children: Hannah, Sarah Jane, Mary Louisa and William Addison. Do you have any information on the William Snyder line. His son, William Addison, is rumored to have had Johannes Schneider's original family bible dated 1767.
