John Snyder and wife with his child and two other children were killed by the Indian on Oct.8, 1763. Two daughters were scalped but afterward recovered.
Nicholas Marx a shoemaker, he lived near John Schneider, whose family were killed by the Indians, 1763, Marks excaped
and carried the news to Bethlhem.
