I may be a little late, I see you posted this in 2000. My name is Fred Bieber, I am first generation American. Made in Germany and born in Denver,CO. My mothers family came from Hercegfalva right before the start or right after the start of WWII. They were German Schneider's living in Hungary, though I don't know when they went from Germany there. I know my mother, Magdalene was born in Hercegfalva on Aug. 28 1928. She was one of three, a sister, Katie, and a brother Peter (Jr). Father Peter and mother Anna, no maiden name. I guess it's possible they were born in Hercegfalva also. If i'm too late I understand, one of these days I'm gonna get back to Bad Hersfeld, Germany and find out what I can. My mother is deceased and the rest of her family is still in Germany. Now my fathers family, that's something else. I got some of them back to the 1600's, though some of it is sketchy. Any thing you can provide, would be most useful. Thx Fred
