Update/Correction:
Henry L. Schneider was born in Illinois in 1859 to John George (born Johann Georg) Schneider and Eva Mary Wombacher. Henry's family moved to Coffeyville, Kansas about 1870. I've been able to find Henry on the 1870, 1900, and 1910 census. He is missing from the 1880 census (about the time he met and married Rachael Ann Miller), therefore, his whereabouts is unknown for 30 years.
I think Henry and Rachael met in Missouri, started their family, and moved back to Coffeyville, KS between 1895-1899. I'm not sure where in Missouri they married and has their first son George Henry Schneider but would like to know.
I'd also like to find out where in Bavaria John George lived before coming to America in 1848 at the young age of 15, the name of the ship and port where he arrived, and his sister's name (believe they arrived together without their parents). If any of these names are familiar to you, please respond.
