Here is a portion of Fanny Schneider's Obituary: AN AGED LADY PASSES AWAY Death of Mrs. Schneider, a Government Nurse During Civil War Mrs. Fanny Schneider, beloved wife of Henry Schneider, died at the home on Adams Street, St. Helena, Thursday morning at 7:30 o'clock, after an illness that covered a period of five months. Her death was hastened by an accident that occured on the 4th ?, the aged lady falling and breaking a thigh bone. Deceased, whose maiden name was Fanny Pritchard, was born in Wales, April 9, 1830, and had therefore reached the age of 86 years, l month and 15 days. When still in her teens she married Williams Owens and in the Fall of 1844 came to the United States, residing for a short time in New York. Notify Administrator about this message?
