I have been working for several years on the family tree of Calman Schneider (1845-1895)and Rachel Aptman (1855-1931). There were 10 children: Sarah, Morris, Samuel, Minnie, Lena, Molly, Harry, Mary, Abraham, and Nettie. The family arrived in NYC from Russia (Kamenitz Podolsk, Ukraine) in several groups between 1893-1898. The family settled first in Manhattan, then most moved out to Brooklyn. I'm descended from Morris, but I have information on all 10 branches. I've had access to all kinds of local records that aren't available online (birth/death/marriage certificates, cemetaries, brooklyn censuses, etc.) so I would like to exchange and share information with the rest of the family.
