Debbie, You probably already have found some of this information, but I was checking to see if anything new was on forum, saw you entry and decided to reply.

We appear to be cousins. Florenz Anthony Dielen Schneider or Dillonschneider was my G-G-G Grandfather. He was born on 2 Jun 1802 in Dingsburg, Cantogtalsburg, France and married Madalena Weber on 22 Jul 1828 in Seingriest, Alsace, France. Madalena was born in Abt. 1806 somewhere in France.

They came to America in 1832 along with a daughter Maria Madalena born 11 Sep 1829 and son Florenz born 7 Dec 1831. Maria died on the trip over and was buried at sea. Florenz died shortly after they arrived in New York. I have not had any luck in finding the name of the ship they came over on or the exact date. The spelling of the name is creating havoc with researching them.

They were still alive in 1860 and show up in the census, but have disappeared after that. I suspect they passed away in Ohio where the youngest six boys were born. I am afraid I have limited information on all of the children, except Anthony who I descend from.

Let me know if I can help you further, and I apologize if you already had all of this.
