Thanks for the reply. I don't think it's the same line (hence the problem with such common names!) but I'll keep an eye out in case I come across the John/Katherine w/ son George combination. Children of my g-g-grandparents John & Katherine (that I know of) were John Jr, Charles, Mary, Henry (my g-grandfather), William and Amelia.
