I'm looking for any tidbits of information I can on my family. I've been lucky so far and have quite a bit, however, the more I can add to my database the better. Here's what I have so far:
My grandmother was Anne Maria/Magdalena Schneider Schlientz b: 1910 in Budapest. Immigrated in 1914 to St Louis, MO. After the death of her father, she and her mother moved to Michigan. Her parents were:
Mother: Anna Maria Gracir-Dubos Schneider b:1884 in Slovakia.
Father: Joseph Schneider b: 1887 , birthplace unknown but possibly in Slovakia/Hungary; d: Nov 1918 in St Louis, MO during the flu epidemic.
Anna Maria Gracir-Dubos parents:
Mother: Anna, d: 1899
Father: Joseph Dubos-Gracir, d: 1901
Joseph Schneider's parents:
Mother: Anna Maria Heini
Father: Andras Schneider
Siblings: Adam, 2nd unknown brother, Anna, Katie (short for another name). The two brothers, Adam and Unknown, both died in Turkey during the first World War; I am unsure of which army they fought for. Anna moved to St Louis with her brother and Katie never left Hungary.
If anyone has any information, I would most appreciate it.
