Philip and Elisabetha Schneider were the parents of Elisabetha Margaretha Schneider who was the first wife of Jacob Alt/Ault. She had Eva, b 1764, Johann jacob, b 1767, Christina, b 1770 and Maria Magdalena, b 1773, all at Springfield, York Co., Pa. It is believed that they may have raised their grandchildren after Elisabetha Margaretha's death between 1773 and 1781 and after Jacob Alt/Ault remarried. Would appreciate any information about this Philip and Elisabetha Schneider and whether they had other children.
