I am looking for information on Phillip A. Schneider who was on the 1880 census in Columbus, Franklin CO., Ohio. The census stated that he was born about 1836 in PA. Does anyone know where in PA?
His father and mother was born in Germany.
Does anyone know who his father/mother were and where they were born in Germany?
I am looking for descendants/ancestors of Phillip A. Schneider and his wife Mary A. Schneider (born about 1837). Also any information on Mary A. Schneider and her family.
On the 1880 census, it stated that he was a shoe merchant. I know that he made shoes for Tom Thumb and his wife.
Here are the members of his household on the 1880 census:
Phillip A. Schneider 44 (shoe merchant)
Mary A. Schneider 43 (Keeping House)
Charles P. Schneider 23 (Clerk In Wholesale Book Shop)
Emma B. Schneider 19 (Music Teacher)
Mary Schneider 18 (Listed as Servant)
Emma B. Schneider married Adam G. Innis in 1881 in Columbus and had 9 children.
Mary L. Innis (the youngest daughter) married Donald R. Lynch in 1940.
