I'm looking for any information on John Snider/Snyder, born about 1810, or Sarah unknown, his wife, born about 1814, who can be found in Polk County, TN in the 1850, 60 and 70 census images, both born in Tennessee
They had the following children (all born in Tennessee -- may be more): Catherine, 1833; Anderson, May, 1834; Elizabeth, 1837; William R., 1840; Sarah Jane, 1842; John Westly, 1847; George, 1849; James, 1849; Joseph, 1854; Martha, 1857. Birth dates are approximate.
William R. married Elizabeth James, born in Georgia about 1842. They are also in Polk County for the 1860, 70 and 80 census years. They had the following children, all born in Tennessee: Cora T., unknown; George Fetzer, 23 August 1861; Mary Jane, 1867; William Erby, Oct 1, 1868; John Calvin, Dec 15, 1870; Leander, 1872; Martha, 1875; James Robert, Nov 19, 1879.
