Seeking information on Rudolph Schneider and Marie Meck Schneider, along with other family members. Before going to the German Masonic Home in Tappan, NY, the last known address of Rudolph was 1287 Decatur St., Brooklyn, New York. The last known address of Marie Meck Schneider was 105-15 Liberty Avenue, Ozone Park, Long Island, New York before her death in the German Masonic Home in Tappan, NY. Rudolph and Marie had one son that lived to adulthood; Wilhelm Franz Schneider born January 10, 1900 in Paterson, NJ and baptized March 18, 1990 at Ward St. Presby Church. One of the sponsors was Barbara Meck, possibly related to Marie. Wilhelm Franz Schneider later changed his name to William Francis Snyder (my grandfather). The family also lived in Stratford and Bridgeport, CT, and Secaucus, NJ. William Francis Snyder married May (Mary Josephine) Cleary 9/1/1917 in Stratford, CT. May Cleary came to the U.S. with an Irish dance troupe from Dublin, where she was born. They had 3 children: Robert William Snyder, Eileen Snyder, and William Francis Snyder II. William (Wilhelm) may have had a second wife, of Italian heritage, somewhere in the Long Island, NY, area, and several children. Rudolph Schneider and Marie Meck Schneider both died while in the German Masonic Home in Tappan, New York; Rudolph in 1943 and Marie in 1945. They are buried in the cemetery at the Tappan Reformed Church. Any information will be appreciated.
