Dear Step-cousin,
Your Lone Schneider's mother was Elizabeth Burch Shelton Schneider. I am related thru her first husband Shelton.
Elizabeth B. Burch had 8 children by Enoch Shelton. When he died she & the 6 living children moved to Oelwein, Fayette, IA where she married Michael Schneider. Together they had 8 more.
Michael & Elizabeth's children were: 1. Lewis, 2. Michael Salonius "Lone" Schneider, b. Nov. 30, 1857, Oelwein, IA, d. Oct. 26, 1934, 3. Luella (Louella) "Ella" Mariah Schneider, 4. Lydia Amanda, 5. George Andrew Jackson, 6. Sidney Lee, 7. Wan/William Alva, 8. Laura Antoinette.
**Michael Salonius "lone" Schneider & Mary Saloma "May" Hart were married Nove 30, 1882.
Their children were: 1. Helen Schneider, b. 1885, m. C. H. Knos, 2. Bessie Schneider, b. Aug. 6, 1889, 3. Burch Hart Schneider, b. May 2, 1901, m. Violet Siemers.
**Elizabeth Burch's father was the founding father of Oelwein, IA and I have a great deal more info about them all. Plus I am in contact with several of "our" cousins.
