John Anselm Schneider settled in Pittsburgh, Pa. During the Civil War he worked for the government as an interpreter. He spoke 5 languages. He married Mary Amelia Schwear and had 2 children, Mary and James. Does anyone have info on John Anselm Schneider before Pa.
