My great-great-grandfather was John C. Schneider born March 6, 1841. Conflicting info on birthplace(?Michigan or Hessen, Germany). He died in Freedom Twp., Washtenaw County, Michigan on 10/19/1894. I am looking for info on his parents and any siblings. Family lived in the Saline, Michigan area. He married Maria Miller (or ? Greenmuller). Not sure if this will tie in with your line.
