We have a Philip Schneider in our family who also went to Lancaster Co PA and was supposed to have lived in Hempfield Twp. where he also died. Married twice-first to a Catharine, and second to Maria Elizabeth. The dates we have found for our Philip's birth was about 1730 in Germany. He married about 1749 in Lancaster Pa Hempfield Twp. I realize we have a difference in birth years for your and our Philip, but wonder if "possibly" they could still be one and the same. Do you know who your Philip married, or who his children were?
