This is a subject that is not spoken of in my family...
my ggrandfather was
Louis Edward Schneider
born January 17, 1879 in New Orleans, Louisana. he died around 1966
His parents were Edward L. Schneider born 1852 in New Orleans, Louisana and Mary Exsterstein born in 1855 also in New Orleans, Louisana.
He was married to a young lady of the name of Louise Annastatia Robinson 13 years younger than him on June 06, 1911 they had four children, two boys and two girls. In the 1920 census they are all listed. Shortly after that he's gone. Family gossip says he might have been an alcoholic, or abusive, I don't know if they ever divorced, and haven't been able to find out, if anyone has ever heard of this let me know.
