I am a decendant of a George Schneider B 1823 in Rheinish Bavaria. 1905 D. George had a few daughters one of them Lucia Schneider Bumiller Koch. My GGgrandmother
Another nicnamed Baby who married a Koch. Some of the names match slightly in your research. Geneaology hunt always find something wrong somewhere. George
was involved politically during the Garfield era. He was involved in establishing the Staats-Zeitung german newspaper in ST Louis in the 1840s-50s. He was mostly a banker of sorts and was on the consul to Denmark in addition ran the Worl Columbian Expo for a short while. I know this is a little bit of a stretch but if anything sound like a connection could you let me now.
