My great-grandfather was Frank Eugene Krieg and he was born in Winona, Minnesota in 1868.
He was the son of Frank Eugene Krieg and
Albertine Caroline Henrietta Zerbell.
I was struck by the coincidence as to approximate dates and the name with its very unusual name.
My greatgrandfather had the following siblings: Mary, Henry, Rosa, John, Clara, Charles, Frederick Louis, Eda Aurelia, Anton Dennis, Edward Arthur and Walter Oscar.
Do any of those names sound familiar?
