I'm not sure if our information matches, but there are enough similarities to make me reply to your note.I have in my records a Abraham Schonauer born about 1724 (probably Switzerland) and died about 4 Sep 1762 in Lancaster Co, PA.His parents were Hans (John) and Ursula Schonauer who immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1744.(Abraham probably emigrated from Germany with his parents, although I do not have proof.)Abraham bought his father's land in 1749, as part of his father's estate settlement, and paid his brothers and sisters their shares. He shows up on the Cocalico Township tax rolls in 1751, 1756 and 1758 owning 180 acres. He was taxed in 1759 for 100 acres. He sold a part of the lands to Jacob, but died without executing a deed. In his will dated 24 Jun 1762 he ordained executors to sign a deed of 160 acres to his brother, Jacob, and named his loving friends, John Graff and Jacob Erb as executors and grantors.Siblings include Christian, Barbara, [Abraham], Jacob, Mary, Anna, and Ursula. What do you think? Is this the same Abraham? If so, possibly you could help supply information on his offspring which I lack.
