Pearl Schooner m Frank Reyome in Ohio

Hi everyone! I've been looking into the different spellings of Schooner. Pearl Schooner and Frank Reyome are my great-grandparents. I can find nothing on Grama Pearl except that her parents are Thomas Schooner and Mary Lavier. Did the name spelling get changed somewhere right around that time? Do any of these names sound familiar to anyone?

Family stories say that the Reyomes and the Schooners come from Canada. I just found out that the Reyomes may have come from the Rheaume line from Canada from France. Maybe the Schooner name was changed in spelling so drastically also. I think that Grama Pearl was part Indian also. Somewhere in the Schooner line someone married into an Indian tribe or two. I just wish I had a clue as to where to start looking for the Schooners. If anyone can help, please do!!

Thank you so much -- Vicki
