I collected a bit of info on this family, as it was rumored that my Schoolcraft line descended from Henry's brother, James. As it turns out we're are related, but not that directly. Here's what I have-
1) John Schoolcraftb.Oct. 20, 1782
2) Frederick b.Aug. 31, 1784
3 Lorenzo b.May 2, 1786,
m. Jane Peek May 20, 1809
4 ) Peter b. abt. 1790
5) Catherine Annb.abt. 1792m.Willette Helme Shearman in 1816, d.Jan. 9, 1834
6) Henry Rowe
7) Abraham b.June 24, 1795, m. Alida Harrinton
8) Maria Eliza b.abt. 1800, m.John Hulbert
9) Margaret Helen b.June 18, 1806,
d.Aprill 12, 1829
10)James Lawrence b.1809 in Vernon,NY
m.Anna Maria Johnston in Nov. 1834,
d.July 6, 1846 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI
(James was murdered, interesting story)
I believe most of this was gleaned from Henry's book & books about him. You'll probably find someone with a more complete picture, If not I can check my files and see if I have anything more.
Hope this is helpful-
Sue
