Just saw your reply. Sorry.

There is a man named Frank Schoettler out of Chicago (I can hook you up) who is the Schoettler guru, as far as I am concerned. He sent me a gedcom file on the Schoettler's in America.

It seems there were approx. 6 siblings who immigrated to America (they had everything on all but my elusive Karl - when he left Germany, he left a child? haven't figured that out yet)!

The WI Schoettler's are quite historically preserved!

My whole irony is that I was born in Milwaukee, raised in Racine & met my Schoettler hubby (of the elusive Karl Schoettler in PA) in MD. Such a small world of wonders!

I would be happy to send you the gedcom I have on the Schoettler's.

What do you know of your family?

Lori Schoettler
wife of Jim Schoettler (currently of FL)
