Massasoit Ship 1820

On the typed passenger list #40 down is the Schrieder family. Of the two listed as dead are E.M. Hout female 38 and S. Schrieder 30 male. I later learned Mrs. E. M. Hout was Elizabeth M. Schrieder wife of Jacob Hout. Is it possible since I cannot find a forum with the d spelling of Schrieder that perhaps it was changed to be spelled with a b once in America? The original list just uses initials. However if you have an idea of your ship name and year, it is wonderful to find the typed list. We all know how easy it is to read old hand written lists.
The 40 year old male L. Schrieder was listed as a ropemaker. Welcome your suggestions. Thanks
